For CANDY-Branded Air Conditioners Distributed by AVE – Valid Only in Greece

This warranty is additional and does not replace or limit any other rights the purchaser (customer) may have regarding the product.

1. Warranty Coverage: Air conditioning units distributed by AVE under the CANDY brand are covered by a 5-year warranty. The warranty covers the repair or replacement of components found to have defects or manufacturing faults by an Authorized Service Center. After the warranty period, all related costs are the responsibility of the customer.

2. Geographical Validity: This warranty applies only to products distributed and installed in Greece.

3. Warranty Activation: AVE initiates the warranty process only upon request from the seller.

4. Warranty Start Date: The warranty start date is validated by the proof of purchase.

5. Exclusions – Installation & Misuse: AVE reserves the right to refuse warranty service if the defect is not manufacturing-related or if improper installation causes the malfunction.

6. Access & Safety Costs: AVE is not responsible for access or safety costs incurred during technical support.

7. Component Replacement: Component replacement is performed only after a diagnosis by an authorized technician.

8. Warranty Duration: Repairs or replacements do not extend the original warranty period.

9. Items Not Covered:The warranty does not cover:

• Routine maintenance.
• Misuse or improper installation.
• Use in unsuitable environments.
• Interventions by unauthorized personnel.
• Non-original spare parts.
• Corrosion, poor electrical connections, weather damage, vandalism, natural causes, etc.
• Electrical installations outside specifications.

10. Limitations: The warranty does not cover damages or defects caused by incorrect installation or use, nor does it cover material wear resulting from unforeseen events.

11. Modifications: Any extensions or modifications to this warranty must be confirmed in writing by AVE.
